Fonts matter
Reckognizing information intuitively is key when it comes to great usability and ease of accessing data quickly by the human brain. Google recemntly changed their fonts used in the app and partially in the desktop version.
The font used is called "Raleway"
It pairs nicely with the very popular "Roboto" font.
